Never Sleep On An Argument!

Whatever you do, or don't do in your life, make sure that you never go to bed on argument. Never walk away without saying goodbye because you might never get the chance.
As i sit here thinking of the times we used to share.
The things we said and the way you did my hair.
That very first time you put it in bunches, who would have thought that tears would come to punches.
Yes, we used to scream and shout, But that was all with glee.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names hurt deep inside.
Please can we be friends, Make up and swalloe our pride.
But "No" you say, it's too late, We can't turn back now.
But i can assure you, we'll make it up, Someday, somewhere, somehow.
Can you remember what it was all about.
No neither can i.
But the night that it all happened, you learnt how to fly.
Later on you took something, at the time it felt good.
The next day you didn't wake your brain had turned to mud.
I sat by your bed and cried.
Why. i screamed, why had you died?
They asked me why you had to go.
I shrugged and said i didn't know.
I hurt inside you see it now.
They ask me why, from where, and how.
The truth is you see my every move.
Your my friend, you're watching all i do.

Hi Emma.Thank you for writing this poem. I am a true believer of this --- never go to bed without saying sorry or without resolving the discord because you will never know if you can have the chance to say I am sorry when you wake up the following day. Sad, but very good read. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.Best regards to you and yours,Nenita
